Vineyard & Viticulture
Fruit for The One comes from the Home Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, BC, Canada, overlooking Vaseux Lake. The site includes both south- and north-facing slopes with glacial fluvial soils (sand, gravel, and rock). Chardonnay is from Clones 76 and 95 (blocks 7 & 8, planted 2003). Pinot Noir is from Clones 114, 115, and 777 (blocks 1, 11, and 12, planted between 2001 and 2008). Viticulture includes Geneva Double Curtain training for Pinot Noir and a Modified Scott Henry system for Chardonnay.
Winemaking
Hand-picked fruit was whole-cluster pressed to capture purity and finesse. The base wine was cool-fermented to preserve bright aromatics and natural acidity. After tirage, the wine rested sur lie in the bottle for 67 months, developing fine bubbles, gentle complexity, and a subtle hint of brioche.

Tasting Notes
The One 2019 pours a pale straw colour with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens with lifted aromas of citrus blossom, lemon zest, and crisp green apple, layered with subtle brioche and almond notes that reflect the wine’s extended time on lees.
On the palate, the extra time on lees is the key to this wine’s complexity and inviting creamy brioche notes; it is the saline, citrus, green apple, and stony notes that elevate this wine, putting it among some of the best sparklers made in BC. The texture is taut yet creamy, balancing freshness and depth with precision. The finish is long, lifted, and beautifully refreshing. 93 Points
Final Take
Graceful, layered, and effortlessly drinkable, The One 2019 confirms Noble Ridge’s place among BC’s top sparkling wine producers. This is a bottle that works as an aperitif, but it truly shines at the table with oysters, sushi, seafood, roast chicken, or a salty, snacky spread.
