Made from 100% Riesling using the Charmat method, with delicate white floral aromas, racy acidity and a long finish featuring nutty and yeasty notes from extended lees contact. 🍏 2025 ESV Riesling | $26.99 A still expression of Riesling, offering an interesting contrast to its sparkling sibling. 🌼 2025 ESV Field White | $26.99 ⭐ Another favourite! 🍷 Baco Noir + Spaghetti & Meatballs — a perfect fa 🍷 Baco Noir + Spaghetti & Meatballs — a perfect fall pairing. 🍝 Tonight’s bottle is @ancienthillestatewinery Baco Noir, one of BC’s rarest reds and a wine that seems made for a hearty bowl of spaghetti and meatballs in rich tomato sauce. Baco Noir’s naturally bright acidity works beautifully with tomato-based dishes, while its dark fruit and spice have enough depth for the meatballs. The Ancient Hill Baco Noir is a gorgeous, deeply coloured red, showing ripe black cherry and dark plum, layered with warm baking spice, chocolate, vanilla and a touch of butterscotch. Soft yet powerful on the palate, with a lush texture and a lingering, spicy finish. 91 Points. Subtle aromas of ripe pear and stone fruit mingle with vanilla and baking spice. The palate brings Meyer lemon, orchard fruit and honeysuckle, with gentle oak adding texture and roundness. Fresh lemon zest, green apple and orchard pear lead into layers of brioche and toasted almond.
