Dirty Laundry Vineyard Hush Rosé
“The Hush Rosé is comprised of several varieties, mainly Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon. The juices are processed separately, and also at different times of our vintage season, to provide complexity and flexibility with the style. The Pinot Gris is destemmed and crushed, and allowed to soak on their skins overnight in the cool night temperatures to allow all those luscious pear and peach flavors to soak into the juice.
The Cabernet Sauvignon is also destemmed, crushed and pressed immediately. We have the capability on our crush pad to fill our press while simultaneously pressing off the juice, which gives a delicate pink color and extracts berry flavors like the classic strawberry profile of Hush.”

River Stone Cabernet Franc Rosé ($24.90)
“The Cabernet Franc was hand-picked and destemmed. The Cab Franc Rosé was made in a traditional style, where we cold-soaked the grapes for 24 to 48 hours and then fully pressed them, separating the pulp from the juice. In doing so, we extract some rich colour and skin tannin, enhancing the wine mouth feel. Then, the clarified juice undergoes a cool, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is further aged for three months on the finer lees where complexity and mouth feel are developed. The 2023 vintage was blended with 10% Pinot Gris, fined, filtered and bottled. The result is a beautiful, vibrantly coloured rosé.”Ted Kane
