Its expressive fruit, earthy undertones and velvet-smooth tannins made a lovely match for the rich salmon and its golden, pan-seared crust. Aromas of red cherry, blueberry and a hint of violet lead into flavours of cherry, cranberry and mulberry, with forest-floor earthiness adding depth. Beautifully integrated oak carries through a long, lingering finish. Grown at Noble Ridge’s Home Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, this 100% Pinot Noir spent eight months in seasoned French oak barrels, keeping the fruit firmly in focus.
