The White Wine of 2019
Church & State Sauvignon Blanc ($23)
Stainless steel fermentation, aged for 6 months with 10% in French Oak.
13.3 % Alcohol | TA 6.3 g/L | RS 4.1g/L
Bright yellow appearance with hints of green. Initial aromas of lime and grapefruit open into white peach and tropical fruit. A medium-body wine with vibrant acidity, mineral notes, subtle saline and elegant citrus that leans toward white grapefruit. 91 Points
Church and State Coyote Bowl Series Chardonnay
Pressed in whole bunches and fermented in barrels for 3 weeks. Aged in French oak barrels for 8 months.
13.5% Alcohol | TA 4.7 g/ L| RS 2.1 g/ L
The chardonnay has a complex nose of ripe apples, almonds and brioche. Flavours of pineapple, white peach and apricot with a mineral backbone. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with balanced acidity and a long finish. 91 Points
Church and State Pinot Gris 2018
Fermentation in stainless steel tank. 10% is aged in barrels. The rest is aged in the tank. The ageing for all was 6 months.
Alcohol 13.2% |TA 4.5 g/L | RS 4.2 g/L
Aromas of pineapple, tropical fruit and citrus. On the palate, soft acidity balances the fruit flavours of pineapple, mandarin orange, mango and a hint of ginger. 91 Points.
Church and State Coyote Bowl Series Roussanne
Hand-harvested and directly pressed in whole bunches. Fermentation in barrels for 3
weeks. Aged for 8 months in French Oak barrels.
14.5% Alcohol | TA: 4.3 g/ L| RS: 3.5 g/ L
The Roussanne has a rich straw colour with a golden reflection. A beautiful bouquet of white blossoms, tropical fruit and ginger. A bold white with character and complexity. Flavours of orange, apricot, citrus and honeydew melon. A wonderfully viscous mouthfeel and minerals linger on the long finish. 92 Points
Church & State Coyote Bowl Series Marsanne
Hand-harvested directly to press in whole bunches and barrel fermented for 3 weeks. Aged for 8 months in French Oak barrels.
Alcohol 13.5% |TA 4.4 g/L | RS 1.8 g/L
This golden wine opens with aromas of fresh apricot, peach, honey and a floral finish. The wine has a luscious mouthfeel. Flavours of yellow peach, mandarin orange and ripe banana with a marzipan and vanilla finish. 91 Points
Church and State Viognier
Hand Harvested and directly pressed in whole bunches. Fermentation in barrels for 3 weeks. Aged for 8 months in French oak barrels.
Alcohol 13.4% |TA 4.1 g/L | RS 8 g/L
A beautiful light straw-coloured wine. The Viognier burst forth with a floral aroma of jasmine, lychee and sweet grass. The wine has a light buttery mouthfeel with flavours of apricot, nectarine, honeydew melon and lemon. 91 Points

I have been a long tine fan of their Pinot Gris, this one sounds lovely!
