For Immediate Release: When we purchased Sonora Desert Winery in August 2022, we knew from the start that we wanted to create a new name and identity for the business which would capture everything that made farming and winemaking so special and magical to us. Over the last few months, we have been working away with friends and family developing the new name which will carry us forward, and we are beyond thrilled to announce that the rebrand and relaunch is now complete, and that Sonora Desert Winery is now Mythology Vineyard.
The new name encompasses everything we love about wine: the history, the passion, the romance, and the shared stories which are contained in every glass and every bottle. Our new tagline; “Legendary Wines, Legendary Experiences” is an invitation to not only enjoy our wines, but also to be part of the amazing events at our estate winery, and the warm hospitality we offer in our tasting room and vineyard inn, which will be renamed Sonora Desert Inn.
As part of this relaunch, we have a new website and online store which includes our full range of wines and spirits including the award-winning wines which Mark has been making since 2010, using the finest grapes in BC and new wines and spirits made from our estate grapes.
We’ll have so much more news to announce in the weeks and months ahead but, for now, we invite you to visit our new online home at www.mythologyvineyard.ca and make plans to join us at our Mythology Vineyard home in Osoyoos to enjoy “Legendary Wines, Legendary Experiences”.
