We have been fortunate to enjoy Noble Ridge Vineyard & Winery sparkling wines for four years now, and they are amazing in consistency.
In April, Noble Ridge announced that it was the first Canadian winery to achieve certification through TOTA’s Biosphere Sustainable Commitment Program, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability. This certification was obtained after completing over 133 activities related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 goals of the United Nations. Noble Ridge The Pink One 2019 ($34.99)
The 100% Pinot Noir grapes for this wine are from the Okanagan Falls estate vineyard.
The wine has 4 Hours of skin contact. The free-run juice was cool-fermented. The sparkling wine “Méthode Traditionnelle” was made with En Tirage for 34 months.
12.1% Alcohol / pH 3,24 / TA 7.1 g/L / RS 6.4 g/L.
It’s a gorgeous, vivid salmon hue. Aromas of fresh strawberry and rose petals with a hint of hazelnut. Flavours of cherry, raspberry and baked pear with a hint of earthy bread and a long, soft finish. 92 Points.
The 2018 vintage was a 2022 WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada Gold Medal Winner.
Noble Ridge The One 2017 Grand Reserve
Okanagan Falls sub-GI designation. 78% Chardonnay / 22% Pinot Noir.
Chardonnay – Clone 76 and 95, blocks 7, 8 planted in 2003
Pinot Noir Clone 114, 115 and 777 blocks 1, 11 and 12 planted 2001, 2008
Whole-cluster pressed and cool fermented with Méthode traditionnelle and en tirage extended to 66 months.
12.1% Alcohol, pH 3.15, TA 6.6 g/L, RS 2.5 g/L.
A clear pale straw/lemon colour with a Brioche aroma and subtle flavours of green apple, Meyer lemon, and toasty notes. The palate has a generous texture with very good length and tiny bubbles that go on forever! The Noble Ridge ‘The One’ 2017 was an outstanding wine; the bubbles became even softer with additional time, and the Grand Reserve is amazing. 95 Points
Noble Ridge The One 2018 ($34.99)
Okanagan Falls sub-GI designation. 72% Chardonnay / 28% Pinot Noir.
The Chardonnay is Clone 76 and 95 harvested from blocks 7, 8 that were planted 2003.
Pinot Noir is Clone 114, 115, and 777 from blocks 1, 11, and 12, planted in 2001 and 2008.
Whole-cluster pressed and cool fermented with Méthode traditionnelle and en tirage extended to 47 months.
12.1% Alcohol /pH: 3.28 / TA: 7.4 /Brix: 18.0/ RS 6.0 g/L
A clear pale straw/lemon colour with a buttery pastry aroma and subtle flavours of green apple, lemon, and yellow plum. The sparkling wine has an exotic creamy mousse, a lingering long citrus finish and lots of bubbles. 93 Points
