Updated January 2026 to reflect current availability and market conditions following the 2025 harvest.
As the Okanagan eases into the cooler months 🍂, these bright, affordable BC white blends continue to shine—perfect for fall comfort foods, cozy winter evenings ❄️, and early holiday entertaining ✨.
British Columbia has quietly become one of Canada’s strongest regions for white wine blends. Cooler growing conditions preserve acidity, while small-lot production allows winemakers to experiment with complementary varieties rather than rely on a single grape. At the under-$25 price point, this often results in wines that feel more expressive and food-friendly than many imported alternatives.
But what exactly is a white blend❓ It’s any white wine made from more than one grape varietal 🍇➕🍇. The beauty of blending is the variety — winemakers can create fresh, vibrant, food-friendly wines that are often more affordable 💵💖.
In BC, you’ll often find Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, and Gewürztraminer leading the charge 🌸🍏🍑🌼. Add in a few other aromatic whites, and you’ve got bottles that are bright, versatile, and oh-so perfect for girls’ nights, brunches, or just a solo sunset pour 🌅👯♀️🥂.

In 2024, each component is performing its role beautifully.
