Northern Lights Estate Winery One Millionth Bottle Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 3, 2026 – Northern Lights Estate Winery today celebrated a historic milestone with the bottling of its one millionth bottle, marking a significant achievement for British Columbia’s northernmost winery and one of Canada’s most recognizable fruit wine brands.

Founded in Northern British Columbia, Northern Lights Estate Winery has grown from a small, community driven operation into a nationally distributed producer of fruit wines. Reaching one million bottles represents years of innovation, resilience, and commitment to quality, achieved in one of Canada’s most challenging and distinctive growing regions. Co-Founder Doug Bell say’s, “We always knew this endeavor would be special to Prince George but we did not understand the impact we would have on Fruit Wines across Canada when we bottled the first bottle 10 years ago, we are so thankful to our fans, our team, and our shareholders who made this happen.”

Co-Founder Pat Bell say’s, “This is a foundational milestone for the fruit wine industry but only 1 step towards a future where they are as common as traditional wines in Canadian households. They are perfect for every experience and occasion”. The milestone event was attended by provincial, municipal, and industry leaders, including Jeff Guignard, CEO of the BC Wine Institute; Prince George Mayor Simon Yu; Ian Patton, Opposition Critic for the Ministry of Agriculture; and Members of the Legislative Assembly Kiel Giddens, Sheldon Clare, and Rosalyn Bird, along with other invited dignitaries and community partners. The Hon Lana Popham Minister of Agriculture forwarded a letter of congratulations (attached).
