The 2025 Vasanti Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé takes a noticeably drier direction this vintage. Made from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc, it finishes at just 0.79 g/L residual sugar — crisp, refreshing and very food friendly. 🍓 Tasting Notes Bright aromas of fresh strawberry and cranberry open the wine, accented by a subtle touch of thyme. The palate is crisp and vibrant, with juicy strawberry, mandarin orange and tart cranberry, balanced by lively acidity. What I particularly enjoyed was the texture. There's a delicate softness through the mid-palate that gives the Rosé a little extra weight without sacrificing freshness, followed by a clean, lingering berry finish. ⭐ 91 Points 🍽️ At the table: Chicken souvlaki with pan-fried potatoes and grilled eggplant. The wine's bright acidity worked beautifully with the grilled chicken, while the strawberry and citrus flavours provided a refreshing counterpoint to the savoury Mediterranean flavours.
