Sonora Desert Winery is proud to announce the launch of Vine Vodka, the first offering in its upcoming range of unique and interesting artisanal spirits.

Vine Vodka is a careful and painstaking double distillation of wine made from Sonora Desert estate grapes. Made with a true farm-to-table process, every aspect of its creation, from growing the grapes to bottling the spirits, is controlled by the Sonora Desert Winery team led by winemaker and distiller Mark Simpson.

The first batch of Vine Vodka will be released later in March and will be available exclusively in the tasting room and online to wine club members.

Along with the vodka, the team also made a batch of estate wine brandy which is now sleeping in bourbon barrels getting ready for its June release. This year’s plans also include a mid-summer harvest from the winery’s eight walnut trees to make the first batch of Nocino walnut liqueur using a secret family recipe passed down to the winery’s Director of Sales and owner/operator Teresa Centanni.

Sonora is truly a unique property in the Okanagan craft beverage landscape, with its rare combination of estate wine and spirits production. When combined with its welcoming Vineyard Inn, the Sonora Desert Winery is a must-visit summer vacation destination in the Osoyoos wine country
