Tasting Notes

Rara Avis boasts a rich, deep garnet colour with complex berry and caramel aromas. On the palate, ripe blackberries, pomegranate, dark chocolate and a hint of oak. The fortified wine has a beautiful velvet mouthfeel and a long lingering finish. The wine is a touch lighter than traditional port wines with a shade less sweetness.
