Celebrate 20 years of supporting BC hospitality workers with a chance to win wine-country getaways, luxury hotel stays and unforgettable travel experiences.
VANCOUVER, BC – September 23, 2026 – The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the launch of its eighth annual Spirit of Hospitality Lottery. This year’s lottery features more than $35,000 in travel, dining and hospitality prizes, including several exceptional Okanagan wine-country experiences.
With 20 prize packages marking the Foundation’s 20th anniversary, the lottery offers British Columbians an opportunity to explore some of the province’s most celebrated destinations while supporting hospitality and tourism workers experiencing financial hardship due to health challenges.
Tickets are available until November 4, 2026, starting at just $5.
This year’s lottery features 20 prize packages in celebration of BCHF’s 20th anniversary, including three Early Bird draws and 17 grand prize packages showcasing some of British Columbia’s most sought-after destinations and experiences.

- The Ultimate Rocky Mountain Adventure featuring a two-day Rocky Mountaineer journey for two and a two-night stay at The Westin Calgary

- Oct. 21 at noon

The lottery closes on Nov. 4, with the final grand prize draw taking place on Nov. 5 at noon.

Every Ticket Supports Hospitality Workers in BC
The Spirit of Hospitality Lottery is a key fundraiser for BCHF, which provides financial assistance to hospitality and tourism workers facing financial hardship because of a personal or family health challenge.
Over the past 20 years, BCHF has provided more than $1.28 million in financial assistance to 340 hospitality and tourism workers and their families. Through this year’s lottery, the Foundation aims to raise $100,000 to continue delivering timely support when it is needed most.
“When a health crisis affects a worker or their family, financial pressures can quickly become overwhelming,” says Dickson. “The Spirit of Hospitality Lottery allows people to enjoy the opportunity to win incredible BC experiences while making a meaningful difference for the hospitality and tourism workers who help make our province such a welcoming place.”

The 2026 Spirit of Hospitality Lottery is presented by the Hotel Association of Vancouver and regionally supported by Castanet, the official media partner for this year’s campaign.
