🍷🇵🇹 Portugal Wine Discovery – Herdade do Monte Bra 🍷🇵🇹 Portugal Wine Discovery – Herdade do Monte Branco Reserva Tinto 2022 Had to pick a red for my travel companion, and this Herdade do Monte Branco Reserva Tinto 2022 was an excellent choice at @cafegelo in Lisbon. Deep ruby in colour with inviting aromas of blackberry, plum, baking spice, and a hint of oak. The palate is rich yet polished, offering layers of dark fruit, subtle chocolate notes, and fine-grained tannins that carry through a long, elegant finish. While red wine isn't the obvious choice with seafood, this Reserva paired surprisingly well with grilled sea bass, its freshness and structure complementing the smoky flavours of the fish without overwhelming them.
