🍷🌸 A seriously dry Okanagan Rosé — and a terrific 🍷🌸 A seriously dry Okanagan Rosé — and a terrific dinner wine.

The 2025 Vasanti Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé takes a noticeably drier direction this vintage. Made from 92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc, it finishes at just 0.79 g/L residual sugar — crisp, refreshing and very food friendly.

🍓 Tasting Notes

Bright aromas of fresh strawberry and cranberry open the wine, accented by a subtle touch of thyme. The palate is crisp and vibrant, with juicy strawberry, mandarin orange and tart cranberry, balanced by lively acidity.

What I particularly enjoyed was the texture. There's a delicate softness through the mid-palate that gives the Rosé a little extra weight without sacrificing freshness, followed by a clean, lingering berry finish.

⭐ 91 Points

🍽️ At the table: Chicken souvlaki with pan-fried potatoes and grilled eggplant. The wine's bright acidity worked beautifully with the grilled chicken, while the strawberry and citrus flavours provided a refreshing counterpoint to the savoury Mediterranean flavours.

A lovely dry Okanagan Rosé for the final weeks of summer. ☀️🍷

🍑 Vasanti Pinot Gris 2025 — 92 Points This is a s 🍑 Vasanti Pinot Gris 2025 — 92 Points

This is a seriously delicious Okanagan Pinot Gris from @vasantiwines.

Sourced entirely from Paradise Vineyard, the 2025 vintage bursts with crisp green apple, juicy mandarin orange, ripe peach and apricot, with bright orchard fruit and delicate citrus blossom on the nose.

Whole-cluster pressing and cool fermentation preserve all that freshness, while a short period on fine lees with regular bâtonnage adds lovely texture.

The result? Crisp, juicy and beautifully balanced, with vibrant acidity, a distinctive mineral backbone and a long, refreshing finish. One of those bottles that disappears remarkably quickly. 🍷

🏡🌲🍷 Cabin life and Okanagan Rosé — a pretty good c 🏡🌲🍷 Cabin life and Okanagan Rosé — a pretty good combination.

Enjoying the 2025 @hestercreekwinery Pinot Noir Rosé from the cabin deck. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grown in a single South Okanagan vineyard, this Provençal-inspired Rosé is made for summer.

The grapes spent just three hours on their skins before pressing, followed by a slow 30-day fermentation in stainless steel and more than four months of tank aging.

🍓 In the glass: A beautiful bright orange-pink colour with aromas of orange zest, wild strawberry and delicate rose petals. The palate is fresh and vibrant, delivering strawberry, rhubarb and mandarin orange, backed by lively acidity and a silky texture. A subtle creaminess carries through the long, balanced finish.

At just 1.0 g/L residual sugar, it's wonderfully dry and refreshing.

⭐ 91 Points

Perfect for a warm afternoon at the cabin — a comfortable chair, mountain air and absolutely no reason to hurry anywhere. 🌲🥂

🍷 Four Fresh 2025 Releases from Vasanti Estate Win 🍷 Four Fresh 2025 Releases from Vasanti Estate Winery

The Renewal Series feels like an especially fitting name this year.

After the devastating 2024 growing season, family-owned Vasanti Estate Winery in Oliver is back with four fresh 2025 releases showcasing South Okanagan fruit.

🥂 Paradise Bubbles 2025
100% Pinot Gris with bright lemon, lime pith and grapefruit, finished with a lively sparkle.

🌿 Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Vasanti’s first Sauvignon Blanc, grown at the cool Paradise Vineyard and fermented in stainless steel to preserve its fresh aromatic character.

🍐 Pinot Gris 2025
Whole-cluster pressed, cool fermented and given two weeks on fine lees with regular bâtonnage for added texture while retaining freshness.

🌸 Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2025
92% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc. Direct pressed, beautifully pale and seriously dry at just 0.79 g/L residual sugar.

Four wines that celebrate renewal, family farming and the return of a BC-grown vintage.

And there’s another good reason to support Vasanti right now: the winery has been helping the Summerland community during the recent wildfire emergency.

with BBQ Chicken, Sweet Baby Ray’s & Home-Grown Green Beans

A wonderfully expressive East Kelowna Riesling showing a whole library of citrus—key lime, mandarin orange and pink grapefruit—joined by ripe apricot and a subtle fresh herbal note.

The palate is beautifully balanced, with a touch of residual sugar rounded by vibrant natural acidity, keeping the wine refreshing rather than sweet. Medium-bodied, lively and wonderfully food-friendly, with an excellent lingering finish. 93 Points.

🍗 Paired with BBQ chicken glazed with Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce and home-grown green beans. The Riesling’s bright acidity and touch of sweetness work beautifully with the smoky, sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

A delicious reminder of just how well East Kelowna Riesling can age.

K Little Vintners My White 2025 — 90 Points

This fresh new release from Bottega Wine Studio blends 66% Chardonnay from own-rooted vines in Oliver with 34% Gewürztraminer from the Similkameen Valley.

🍍 Tropical fruit and a touch of lychee lead into flavours of pineapple, ripe pear, yellow apple and pink grapefruit. Lively acidity keeps everything crisp and refreshing, with a beautifully balanced dry finish.

At $24, it’s a fun, easy-drinking BC white—and with only 170 cases produced, a true small-lot release.

🥒 Paired here with a cool cucumber soup on a warm Okanagan day. The wine’s bright acidity and aromatic fruit are a lovely match.

Fresh, fun and very K Little.
